Day 1. Moscow (Arrival).
Pick-up at airport arrivals hall. Transfer to the hotel, check-in. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration or relaxation.
Walking tour around Moscow city center.
A guided walk around Moscow center (approximately 2 hours): we will start from your hotel that is located close to the Red Square and its surroundings. We will see the famous landmarks such as the Kremlin wall, St. Basil’s cathedral exterior, GUM mall, Lenin’s mausoleum, Kazan church, and the State history museum, Nikolskaya walking street.
A brief introduction to the Moscow metro system can be arranged upon request.

Day 2. Moscow - Sergiev Posad Distance: 104 km
Your journey begins with a pickup from your Moscow accommodation as we drive the SUVs comfortably to Sergiev Posad, located northeast in Moscow region. Upon arrival in the old town, we visit the renowned Trinity Lavra of St.Sergius monastery. We explore the spiritual significance and historical importance of one of Russia's foremost Orthodox monasteries. Take time to wander through the monastery complex, admiring architectural masterpieces such as the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Assumption Cathedral, and other notable structures within the grounds.
The main event of the day is military camp experience! This facinating activity includes visiting an adventure park where you can drive military tanks on an extreme track in the forest and shoot AK-47 rifles. Here you can feel the adrenaline while controlling genuine military tanks and experiencing powerful weaponry.
At the end of an eventful day, we arrive to a cozy hotel in national Russian style, providing a well-deserved rest after an unforgettable day.

Day 3. Sergiev Posad – Suzdal 200 km
The road winds through a hilly region, and each ascent to the hilltop reveals an unparalleled view of the Russian scenery extending to the horizon beneath an endless blue sky. Our path will run along different terrains, both tarmac and unpaved roads, and even a short off-road, ultimately guiding us to the destination of today's journey - Suzdal - one of the most ancient cities of the Russian Northeast, is often called the pearl of the Golden Ring and a must-see destination for history lovers.
We will explore the downtown, including the Kremlin, trade square, and the open-air museum of wooden architecture. Suzdal is renowned for its well-preserved monasteries, stone cathedrals, and traditional wooden houses. The white-stone monuments of Suzdal are included in the UNESCO World heritage List. The city has earned its place as a UNESCO World heritage Site thanks to its stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy walks along the picturesque banks of the Kamenka river and explore local crafts and cuisine. You can either take saps or ride a water tram along the scenic shores of the Kamenka river.

Day 4. Suzdal – Yaroslavl 190 km
Today's auto-run to Yaroslavl features a picturesque route through the center of Russia’s Golden Ring.
Expect a varied drive today: from well-paved roads to country lanes before arriving at today’s location.
The city’s historical center is a must-see UNESCO World heritage site, featuring beautiful churches, monasteries, and merchant houses. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of old provincial Russia, look no further than Yaroslavl. Visitors will explore the Old kremlin and the scenic embankments of the Volga river. The city center is free from the usual hustle and bustle, making it the perfect spot to unwind and take in the picturesque surroundings. Yaroslavl is also famous for its vibrant cultural life and traditional Russian crafts. Day 5. Yaroslavl - Koprino 125 km
We started an introduction to traditional Russia, admiring the golden domes and ancient architecture along the Golden Ring. After this cultural immersion, we head to Koprino Bay to make a stop and enjoy nature, relaxation, and modern comfort.
Koprino is a village located on the right bank of the Volga River, where it flows into the Rybinsk reservoir, which was created in the late 1930s by the Rybinsk hydroelectric power plant, blocking the channels of two rivers: the Volga and the Sheksna.
The Koprino bay is known for its clean beaches, pine forests, and tranquil waters, making it an ideal summer destination. Here, we can enjoy outdoor activities, swim in the lake, and take in the picturesque views. With endless days of sunlight illuminating the landscape, your stay promises to be nothing short of magical.

Day 6. Koprino Bay – Activity Day
This morning signifies a day of rest, and we escape the monotonous driving routine and enjoy a summer day full of surprises and fun activities at Koprino Bay. You can choose to relax at the hotel’s modern wellness center or explore a variety of outdoor options. Take a ride on a speed boat across the lake, or try stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, fishing, jet skis, and bicycles for an active adventure. If you prefer land activities, go for a scenic bike ride or a walk to admire the beautiful views of the Russian countryside. End the day with refreshing cocktails at an open-air bar by the water, making this experience truly unforgettable.

Day 7. Koprino Bay – Zavidovo 345 km
Today we set off on an exciting summer road trip along the Volga river. We will visit another popular summer leisure spot around Moscow. On the way we will drive through various delightful, genuine towns of the renowned Russian Golden Ring, such as Uglich, Myshkin, and Kaliazin, known for its rich cultural heritage. In Kaliazin, you will enjoy a guided tour of the town center, famous for its unique bell tower rising from the water. In Uglich, an excursion of the historic center and a visit to the Uglich Hydroelectric Power Station are planned, subject to access permissions.
En route, we will have the opportunity to admire the scenic landscapes and lush greenery typical of the Russian summer, continuing our journey with thrilling off-road adventures through the picturesque countryside. Although this stretch is quite extensive, this self-drive tour is designed to be enjoyable and relaxing, with frequent breaks to ensure the trip remains pleasant and never tiring for you.
In the evening, we will stop at a beautiful park hotel on the shore of another water reservoir, surrounded by a gorgeous forest. The hotel’s renowned spa facilities are at your disposal, offering a perfect way to relax after a day of exploration.

Day 8. Zavidovo – Moscow 354 km
The last day of our self-drive adventure takes us through the summer picturesque landscapes. First, we pass through Tver and soon arrive in Yaropolets village, where we spend some time exploring the local estates and the historical rural hydroelectric power station. Soon after we will reach the banks of the Volga river, on which the ancient monastery of Staritsa stands. Here, besides magnificent architecture and rich history, we are treated to a real monastic meal, which you will certainly enjoy.
After lunch, we climb up to the high left bank of the Volga, where a fortress once stood and now several impressive churches can be found. The afternoon is devoted to off-roading along the old path by the Volga, which has not been used for a long time and is accessible only by our well-prepared 4x4 vehicles. The last part of the off-road journey includes traversing a few smaller rivers, and upon crossing them, we quickly arrive at our final destination - a rather unique Gothic-style church in the otherwise ordinary village of Krasnoye.
The journey concludes late at night as we arrive back in Moscow, enriched with the beauty and heritage of the Russian countryside.
