Our summer Arctic Adventure has kicked off!
From 16–24 August 2025, we’re on the road across Karelia and the Kola Peninsula - nine days of overlanding that began in St. Petersburg.
Early highlights: Lake Ladoga’s lighthouses, a walk along the granite pier, the Streltsy Ostrog fortress-museum, and the Valley of Waterfalls nature park.
The route continues through Ruskeala Mountain Park with its marble galleries and underground lake, plus the twin White Bridges (Yukankoski) waterfalls - before pushing on to Kizhi Island, home to the UNESCO-listed Kizhi Pogost of wooden masterpieces.

Mid-journey, we circle Segozero and reach Kem for a boat day on the Solovetsky Islands (UNESCO), then trace the White Sea to Umba and dive into Pomor culture.
One of the trip’s signature moments: driving to Tonya Tentrina at low tide across the exposed seabed - followed by mountain roads around Kirovsk in the Khibiny, the Kuëlporr route, and the photogenic Risyok (“Beautiful”) waterfall - before our finale in Murmansk.
